Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Build excellent relationships with new and lapsed customers to understand and meet their needs.
  • Maximise customer interactions to achieve sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products.
  • Provide specific product advice and support.
  • Develop strong knowledge of suppliers, products, and industry trends.
  • Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion.
  • Follow plans to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Advise customers on trading terms, account information, and credit levels.
  • Support all company initiatives.

Requirement

  • Excellent customer focus and a drive to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Proven B2B sales development experience, ideally within construction materials.
  • Ability to build rapport and secure future projects by understanding customer portfolios.
  • Proactive, well organised, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong IT skills and confident telephone presence.
