Property Development Manager - Top UK based Family Office - Market Leading Base & Bonus

About the Opportunity

We are working exclusively with a prestigious Family Office, seeking to appoint a Real Estate Manager to support the development and management of their £1bn property portfolio. This position reports directly to the Real Estate Development Director and works closely with the Principal of the Family Office.

Role Overview

Initially, you will focus on the development of high-profile UK-based assets, coordinating with heads of construction, building consultants, and architects. You will also oversee a team managing a diverse portfolio spanning the UK, Western Europe, and South America, including estates, agricultural holdings, and residential units.

With the Family Office expanding rapidly, your long-term remit will be highly varied, combining development oversight with investment partnership activities such as opportunity assessment, scenario analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and portfolio performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and oversee the development of UK-based high-profile assets.
• Coordinate with construction teams, building consultants, and architects.
• Lead and guide a team managing a diverse, multi-regional property portfolio.
• Partner with the investment team to evaluate new opportunities and assess feasibility.
• Conduct scenario analysis, build budgets and forecasts, and deliver performance insights across the portfolio.
• Provide strategic, value-adding input with high visibility to senior leadership.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the Real Estate industry (backgrounds may include Development Management, Surveying, or Family Office roles).
• Strong academic record; professional qualifications such as MRICS highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to thrive in a high-visibility, value-adding role within asset/portfolio management.
