Oversee manufacturing and quality control processes to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) guidelines.
Review and approve batch manufacturing records and ensure documentation accuracy.
Monitor raw material dispensing, weighing, and usage in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist in product formulation, process validation, and equipment calibration.
Be proficient in devices and IOL (Intraocular Lens) manufacturing, ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards.
Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety protocols in production areas.
Participate in internal and external audits, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Train production and quality staff on GMP, hygiene practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirement
Qualification & Experience:
Pharm-D.
The Pharmacist should be registered with Pharmacy Council of the respective province of residence, and the Registration Certificate should be available at the time of joining.
Practical understanding of GMP, GDP, DRAP regulations, batch documentation, basic analytical testing concepts, and inventory control.
Knowledge of controlled drug handling & reconciliation is desirable.
Ability to convince, present, and take the lead.
Professional Certification related to the field of Pharmacy/Supply Chain/Warehousing/Logistics etc. is preferred.
