Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee manufacturing and quality control processes to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) guidelines.
  • Review and approve batch manufacturing records and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Monitor raw material dispensing, weighing, and usage in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in product formulation, process validation, and equipment calibration.
  • Be proficient in devices and IOL (Intraocular Lens) manufacturing, ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety protocols in production areas.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Train production and quality staff on GMP, hygiene practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirement

Qualification & Experience:

  • Pharm-D.
  • The Pharmacist should be registered with Pharmacy Council of the respective province of residence, and the Registration Certificate should be available at the time of joining.
  • Practical understanding of GMP, GDP, DRAP regulations, batch documentation, basic analytical testing concepts, and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of controlled drug handling & reconciliation is desirable.
  • Ability to convince, present, and take the lead.
  • Professional Certification related to the field of Pharmacy/Supply Chain/Warehousing/Logistics etc. is preferred.
