Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the first in-country HRBP supporting our Islamabad-based sales team
  • Own day-to-day HR operations in Pakistan including employee relations, policy rollout, and in-office onboarding
  • Collaborate closely with the US-based HRBP team to apply performance frameworks, share insights from the field, and influence people strategy
  • Build and localize HR policies and benefits that align with brightwheel values and comply with Pakistani labor law
  • Partner directly with local leadership to coach through feedback, accountability, and team dynamics
  • Create clarity in ambiguity by designing simple, effective systems where none yet exist

Requirement

What You’ve Done

  • Served as an HR Business Partner supporting the Pakistan office of a US-based company, acting as the primary in-country HR lead and aligning local execution with global people strategy
  • Handled employee relations and performance management cases locally, including coaching managers through difficult situations
  • Built or adapted HR policies to meet Pakistan labor law while aligning with a global company’s values and philosophy
  • Advised business leaders in Pakistan on talent decisions, compliance risks, and people strategy
  • Operated independently with minimal support—demonstrating sound judgment and high autonomy in a fast-paced environment
  • Worked fluently within a modern, async-first tech stack (e.g., Slack, Google Docs) to document policies, communicate decisions, and collaborate across time zones
