About the Role

Position: HR Compliance Specialist
Locations: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad (Hybrid)
Department: Compliance (Not HR Department)

Afiniti is seeking an HR professional with a strong compliance background to join our Compliance function. You will be embedded in the Compliance team, applying your HR Compliance knowledge to help strengthen and expand our Compliance Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the roll-out of compliance policies, training programs, and code of conduct initiatives.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and maintain regulatory maps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to track implementation of risk controls and mitigation strategies.
• Assist in documenting standard operating procedures and organizing compliance repositories.
• Monitor compliance platforms, tools, and case tracking systems.
• Support internal investigations and reporting processes.

Location / Remote Work

This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 4 hours per day overlap with EST required.

• 3+ years of experience in HR with direct involvement in compliance, legal, or corporate risk activities.
• Familiarity with global compliance standards such as GDPR, anti-corruption, and whistleblower regulations.
• Detail-oriented, with strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated, tech, or telecom environment.
• Exposure to compliance tools/platforms (e.g., case management, policy tracking, risk registers).
• Interest in legal tech, AI ethics, or global data privacy laws.
• Multi-jurisdictional experience is a plus.
